東山再起

Hello Everyone~
I am back! This time starting afresh on blog. Xanga is being stingy and difficult to use so I have decided to abandon that site..haha
Computer is not quite fixed yet..but I have the good fortune to be able to use Jane's computer today. On Tues I will be flying back to tw and hopefully get a new laptop after all the stress I have been through, trying to get it fixed running around Japan being squashed by people on the trains meanwhile.
I bought a pair of boots today! It is basically made out of cow skin...I think it's really cute in a japanese kinda way but not sure what you guys will think back in uk, haha I guess you will have to just wait since I haven't quite figured out how to post pictures on blog yet (yea i am ultra behind in comparison!).
Well, I guess that is all for now. Everyone HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Nikko & Kawagoe & Tsukiji

So, yesterday I went with Lisa to Kawagoe for a day trip after our attempted trip to Takayama. (Yes I have found a travelling buddy that doesn't need to sleep either!!)
Kawagoe is only half an hour by train from Ikebukuro Tokyo. Nicked named 'Little Edo (name for old tokyo) it was famous for their (more) fireproof housing.
What is special is the fact that the whole town has preserved the traditional atmosphere. The Kashyiya Yokocho street was lined with shops selling old fashioned sweets. I ate so many sweet potatoes (Kawagoe speciality) I was farting so much on the way back..hahaha
But I was ill last night Jane says it's due to the intensive travelling, but I have done that before right? Maybe it's that fact that you guys are not around and I am missing all of you terribly...Hope everyone's well and I will see you soon

Here are the photos of Nikko!! (Only putting two on..Trying hard not to turn my blog into an online album~~)
Hmm, how can i convey to everyone how pretty it really is. Maybe if i say that if carman was here he would need a 1Gb sized memory card?? I'm so mean But carman deserves to be teased, isn't that right carman

Aya told me how to load pictures onto xanga without having to upgrade! hehe~so happy. Therefore I shall continue blogging away..thanx aya!!!
Lisa and I were hardcore travellers. Having got back from Nikko at 9pm we decided we were gonna go and take a day trip to Takayama the following day at 6am! Which we did but unfortunately due to the high prices and the time takes to get there we decided against the idea. Plus there was a typhoon and the weather really was against us.
To award ourselves for getting up so early. We went to the world's biggest fish market-Tsukiji Market instead. I have never seen sashimi sold in chunks rather than slices!! But all the blood put me off eating breakfast there, next time I shall go especially to the restaurant nearby to try the freshest and cheaply priced sushi!

Xanga expiring..

my xanga premium is due to expire T_T
it's so cool being able to load up pictures onto the website. Wish that could just be a basic function they provide.
We went to Nikko today~it was SO beautiful despite the fact that it started raining and it was really cold. The maple leaves are on the verge of turning, the waterfall are so impressive and inspiring, and the Toshogu Shrine is a must!
Unfortunately I can't load anymore pictures T_T...do people think I should get the premium for 6 month which costs 15 dollars??

Skiving

Hello everyone~~
Sorrie about the absence to those who actually bother reading my xanga. I skived my lessons and took a short holiday to Taiwan~It was gorgeous weather, delicious food, heavenly shopping..only that happiness is short-lived and I had to come back on monday for my class on tues.
It was so good to see all my long lost friends in Taiwan, and they all commented on how I managed to use two days as if it were a week! I managed to vote, go to a exhibition (whereby they preserve the human body and artistically incise at certain angle in order to display the parts and objective they wish to show), visit 38 relatives in total, see my two cute german shepards, shop, eat, go to jay's concert, get my glasses prescription redone, visit the flower, computer and jade market...this is efficiency!

Anywayz, now i'm back in japan, and it's chucking it down T_T But now i've come prepared with all my vcds and computer games, i think i'm set for staying in for weeks~haha
