Gilgamesh

The lavish, mega-planned restaurant has reportedly cost £12 mn to set up! As one ascends the escalator, the interesting decor spanned over the huge floor space definitely catches the eye. Though they seem to try and pack in as much egyptian style chair into the space as possible. Apparently the place also house a retractable roof! The food was set up nicely, though would definitely seem over priced had it not be for top table's 50% off deal.

Saki Bar and Food Emporium

Yes, it is indeed Annie's quarter of an century birthday. Inevitability.
Saki has such an extensive menu!! And for some reason the waitor kept on bringing us food that we had not ordered. Having a contemporary creative menu meant that it was difficult to determine the nature of the food until one has sampled the dish, by which time it was too late to return the order. We must have got 3 plates of free food! Lucky me on my birthday :D
Food to try: Miso cod, green tea tiramisu, creative Kobachi cocktails and sashimi!
Decided to have a theme for my b-day, and am so so impressed by EVERYONE! It was such a laugh seeing sharks and tin man and scarecrow walking through the isle of a posh restaurant to the downstairs dining area. It was truely a test of friendship!! hahaha
