Fancy waking up first thing in the morning, trying to cross the first road of the day without getting run over and coming across a giant evil hand perched on top of the building on the road opposite. You think I am talking fiction, well look at that!

Borough Market

The market is full of enjoyment derived from buying one's household provisions direct from the small artisan producers, growers, fishermen, farmers and butchers. From regional British dairy products to olive oils, herbs, spices and dried fruits, cheese varieties, cake selections, the list go on.
Tourists come to visit too, seeing the market also pose oppotunity to spot brownie towers, truffle mushrooms, alligator&zebra meat and feathered phesants.
It is also a great brunch/lunch destination. There's plenty of excellent stalls offering ostrich burgers, falafel pitta sandwiches, or simply binge on the free tasters by the individual stalls.
