The Belief Cycle

There is a more complex version, but I cannot seem to locate the literature online.

Essentially, Your Belief drives your Expectation. Your expectation in turn drives your Thinking, which drives your behaviour. Behaviour then determines the Outcome of an Incident, which confirms the original Belief.

The underlying idea is to reinforce positive Belief Cycle. And, through awareness of the cycle, to break out of the negative cycle if necessary and channel the energy into positive thinking.

Brighton

After 10 days and 10 sleepless nights of slaving over financial maths, derivatives & options, accounting, regulatory markets, economics, asset management and equity research, I am finally free from my engagement and free to PARTY!!
This working style is definitely in sync with my motto - work hard and play harder! Straight after the exam comes the pub drinks on Monday, London city orientation and Tower 42 on Tuesday, birthday party on Wednesday, Paintballing on Thursday and Graduate drinks on Friday.
And then comes Saturday - instead of getting a good rest - we went to Brighton! It was a beautiful day, and even though everyone got up at 8am it was just nice to get out of the city and be at the seaside before midday. The sunny day really cheered us up, and with a stunning local tourguide we managed to visit the royal pavilion, brighton pier AND shopped for two pairs of shoes at the Laines before eating at Moshi Moshi, voted top 50 Japanese restaurants in UK. Such a relaxing day~~~I love brighton!

Cold...

Winter's here...it is amazing how in the duration of 24 hours the temperature of central London dropped 10 degrees permanantly.

天將降大任於斯人也,必先苦其心志,勞其筋骨,餓其體膚,空乏其身,行彿亂其所為,所以動心忍性,增益其所不能.

Ganbarimasu!

(You can tell somebondy's slightly demented when she decides to write a post in three languages)
