Mouse Mania :S
Today I experienced my first ever case of domestic mouse intrusion in our rental apartment. As I gently wound down for the day I sensed a certain movement in the peripheral. On closer inspection it turned out to be - a MOUSE!!
I couldn't believe my own eyes!! Our house was suppose to have been professionally cleaned prior move-in, and we have been very tidy and clean. I would never in a million years dream to see a mouse in my residence.
Terribly upset and screaming myself silly standing on the couch, I was so glad as JJ returned to the rescue. After many unsuccessful attempts of trying to corner the mouse with a browntape wall and random entrapment we finally captured the creature. However, instead of disposing it immediately we had the idea of taking it far far away the next day so it could not find its way back into our premise. Little did we know that mouse is hypersensitive to CO2 level - and half an hour later it died of asphexia...
Destroying a life form so carelessly left me feeling guilty until - I spotted ANOTHER mouse in the distance!! OMG OMG :@:@:@ I will definitely have to phone the exterminator tomorrow morning asap. Meanwhile our handyman JJ has produced a DIY mouse trap..fingers crossed.
A traumatic day...have done no study and it's already half an hour past midnight...
