Krakow

Yet ANOTHER interesting trip to the airport! I was woken up by the sound of the taxi driver buzzing my door bell at 3am! Having fallen fast asleep waiting for the hot water to heat up at 2am I panicked BIG TIME! Rushed to Golders Green bus station, only to spot the national express bus stopped at a red traffic light in the distance. As usual I pegged after the damn thing and managed to look pitiful enough so the bus driver let me on...I wonder if I am cursed to rush all the time on holiday...

Krakow has now become one of my favourite cities of all time! I am definitely a sucker for wonderful food, jazz at night, concerts in church and cheap manicure session!

yes yes, my pretty nails~~~I spent 3 hours doing them instead of going to visit the World renouned concentration camp.

Frankfurt & Geneva

Having the privilege of a consultant without having to work the hardcore hours. I do not suggest it was a easy walk on my behalf, after all – no pain, no gain, right? –The preparation work and the expectation of being torn to pieces by senior development engineers and scientists in high profile companies did cause a view up-turned stomachs. Looking back, what I perceived to be a daunting experience turned out…not too bad! The BS skills acquired from my degree have just been upped a level =p
A gentle stroll through the city of Frankfurt and Geneva has led to the following:

sausages - a true starvation diet for the vegetarians

the town of heidelberg - seeked the opportunity and met up with Rachel for the weekend :D

University Library and its winding art nouveau stair case

Night view by the Jet d'eau

I’ve always wanted to play chess in the park like this…but I guess I have to learn how to play chess first! =p
