London Underground System
It is amazing how London, who boasts sophistication and regulation, cannot even get their trains to stop at the same place.
I know I probably shouldn't moan, but this morning was such a joke!! I had to let 5 trains pass me at Euston today and waited a total of 15 minutes on the platform. You would think that stopping where the last door was situated will ensure one to be the first to get on the next train, but oh no, the health conscious underground system is not about waiting stationary for the next train, it's all about running around like a headless chicken first thing in the morning, battling through the crowds whilst trying to guess out of the blue where the train will stop.
It worries me sometime to see that often drivers from the tiny train window possess a morning copy of the Metro...no wonder they cannot even stop the train at the same place. Or maybe there is no desegnated area for stopping, in which case I am damned and will just stop here...
