Wapping project

Recent years see the increased concept of recycling in fashion retail stores. Wedgewood used broken ceramics, and Habitat looked into paper cutout lamp shades for their shop window decor.

Restaurants are no exception to the new fashion trend, as new dining spaces are born out of buildings with previous uses. The Wapping Project was previously a hydraulic power station. As one dines in the candlelit open space it is difficult to describe the strange feeling having observed the fusion of industrial characterics versus iconic furniture.

The adjoining art gallery adds further interest to the dining experience, with a tree of umbrella and an indoor autumn forest to be explored after desert.
